Who We Are
The Utah Approved Contractors Organization is a subsidiary of Kareh Enterprises, a Utah company. We initially got the idea of creating this website after we tried to hire a few contractors ourselves and ran into some big problems with the contractors who were highly advertised and "recommended" through web listings. The deliverables, timing, and customer service was greatly lacking in many cases. The question arose... how do we reach those contractors that may not have the advertising dollars of the big boys, but still provide a quality service and focus on customer satisfaction? We created a directory of contractor referrals by working with some sister companies and partners of contractors that we trusted, and we realized that this information was helpful to many of our friends and family members. We created this website as tool for people to use to find trusted contractors and for trusted contractors to come together in one list to improve their businesses while maintaining their levels of quality.
After you hire the contractor, if you're not satisfied with the service, you may contact us. We will attempt to make contact with you and the contractor within 48 hours of your request to mediate. If you're still not satisfied with the contractor's work and we agree with you based on the situation, we will count this as one of the 3 strikes against the contractor. This will keep our site clear of contractors who don't take pride in their work.
